What would you write down?

by Christina on January 1, 2011

We made a resolution wall last night:

(blackboard paint is the best!)

Here’s the collective list (it’s a pretty good list!):

  • Do better cooking
  • Be more social
  • Let go of expectations
  • Enjoy spontaneity (and be less controlling)
  • Be on time
  • Work my personal mantra to perfection
  • Stop apologizing
  • Practice yoga every day
  • Develop a home yoga practice
  • Listen to myself a little more
  • Work (together)
  • Travel more
  • Eat more veggies
  • Change jobs
  • Laugh and play
  • Do yoga 6x per week
  • Take more pictures
  • Live light, easy, fast and free
  • Smile and laugh always
  • Enjoy family
  • Stay positive
  • Be more sensitive to my body

(Mine were stop apologizing and develop a home yoga practice).

I love the idea of writing these on a public wall because then other people hold you accountable! (thank you for all the reminders to stop saying “sorry” all the time).

What would you write down? Or what would you burn and let go of from 2010?

To constantly create new possibilities for others

This is a good one.

I’ve been thinking about that as an important job of doctors: not to tell your patients what to do, but to create possibilities for them.
