Being a 2nd year resident is MUCH better than being an intern, but I’m finding myself busier in different ways (clinic notes, paperwork, patient follow up, OB call, reconnecting with the parts of me I lost during intern year). Anyway, sorry for the lack of blog posts in the past month!
I’m working on an upcoming presentation on obesity and rediscovered this wonderful mini-med school lecture by Dr. Robert Lustig at UCSF. It’s now gotten over 2.6 million views on YouTube!

That is so ironic that hospitals — places where sick people go to get better — sell unhealthy food in their cafeterias.
go look at the ingredient list on tube feeds. itll make you queasy.
